Who?

We are Change Recruitment, part of the Taranata Group, and are one of Scotland’s leading talent providers within the Professional Services sector.  Each one of our recruiters works within a particular market specialism, which makes every opportunity at Change unique. As 2020 gets underway, we are looking to strengthen our growing and long-established Accountancy & Finance team in Glasgow, within the Commerce & Industry sector.  We are looking to grow this specialist area of the business with an experienced recruiter.  

What?

This Glasgow-based role will form part of a wider team within the Commerce sector of Accountancy in Edinburgh and the East of Scotland.  The specialism we would like to develop is the transactional finance market, with the opportunity to work alongside a successful and experienced team.  Change offer a unique opportunity for our recruiters to either dual desk, or to work in the area they excel, whether that be temporary or permanent recruitment.  This is a varied and exciting role which is autonomous and supportive in equal measure.  It will have a strong client focus, where you will develop existing relationships and well as brand new ones.  The role is also focused on candidate acquisition, in an often challenging marketplace, where being ahead of the competition in terms of your innovation and marketing is key. 

Recruitment is a team sport and a true sales environment.  This team will dig in together when times are tough and work hard to meet and exceed their financial targets each month.  You will be part of a very autonomous culture, where you are measured on your financial outputs.  You will have plenty of scope to use your networking and influencing skills.

To be a successful recruiter within our Commerce & Industry team you will ideally;

  • have a proven track record in recruitment
  • have an appetite for building strong and long-term relationships
  • enjoy developing new business
  • be commercially minded and have an interest in business
  • be driven and motivated to succeed in a fast paced and target driven environment
