Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid working
Change Digital is working with a UK based pensions and investment management advisory business to recruit a Product Designer. This exciting creative role is responsible for ensuring user experiences provide value for all external and internal users. This role will have responsibility for contributing to all stages of proposition and product development: discover, define, develop and deliver.
With offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow this role can be based out of either location and offers hybrid working with 2 days per week based on site. Over the years they have established a reputation as a leader in providing independent insight and guidance to companies across the UK in the pensions sector.
Key responsibilities:
Bringing a user experience perspective to proposition or product development.
Design elegant solutions to complex workflows
Contribute to the
growing design system, UX playbook and best practice guidelines.
Design and build clickable prototypes for user testing and iteration.
Assist in the planning and facilitation of workshops, design sprints and other collaborative sessions.
Champion the innovation team approach and build relationships across the firm.
Experience and skills
Industry experience, preferably in a UX or product design related role
Advanced understanding of user interface patterns, design methodologies and visual design principles
Strong problem-solving
skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
Proficiency in modern design tools, think Figma, Sketch and Adobe XD
Able to collaborate with other designers, developers
and product teams.
The ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, agile environment bringing both positivity and optimism.
Understanding of common project management methodologies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
