Support Accountant

I’m currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to take their career in a different direction and move into FinTech. This is a great opportunity to join an established, supportive team where you’ll use your accounting knowledge to help customers, while receiving structured training and ongoing development.

As a Support Accountant, you’ll be responsible for:

• Acting as a first point of contact for customers via phone, email and online chat
• Providing accurate and timely support on accounting and bookkeeping queries
• Delivering customer training through outbound calls
• Proactively contacting customers to offer support and guidance
• Helping prospective customers understand the product and how it can support their business
• Supporting the product team by testing new features and functionality

Ideally, you’ll have:

• 2–3+ years of practical accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes, ideally including VAT, payroll/RTI and Self Assessment
• Experience gained within an accountancy practice, bookkeeping environment, accounts role or similar
• Strong IT skills and an interest in technology
• An understanding of bookkeeping and accounting software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A genuine interest in helping people and solving problems
