Hometown: Beijing(China)

Best thing about your hometown: The Forbidden City

Superpower: I’m good at talking to dogs and cats

Where were you before joining Change?

I was working in a luxury retail company.

How long have you been in Edinburgh?

I’ve lived in Edinburgh for 4 years.

How are you finding it?

I initially came to study, and then I totally in love with the city.

Why did you decide to start a career in recruitment?

Because it is a win-win job, I feel I can fulfill myself by helping clients and candidates at the same time.

Is there anything you expect to see within Far East recruitment in the coming years?

Far East countries are a huge market. There are a lot of potential opportunities to develop and I’m positive about this market.

What initially attracted you to the position at Change?

Change’s culture. After I did my research and had a conversation with Ibi and Mark, I discovered I deeply agree with Change’s culture and the way they work for their clients and candidates.

What are you most looking forward to?

Listening to candidates and helping them to develop their careers.

Where do you see your career in 5 years?

In 5 years, I think I can deliver my experience to new staff joining the team. I can give mature suggestions to my leader and will be a reliable team player at Change.

Favourite holiday?

A trip to Barcelona trip in 2018. I went with my husband, and we had a great time there.

Most famous person ever met?

Bruno Mars? I went to see his concert in Glasgow last year. Or Michael Laing? He has an OBE and I worked for him for over a year. He is a very nice and humorous person to work with.

Seen any good movies or read any good books lately?

I have to say the best movie I have seen is ‘Midnight in Paris.’ I know it is not a new movie, but I love it. It has such an amazing story and tells people to live in the present.
