Natasha makes her first step into recruitment by becoming a part of our Customer Contact team while Craig continues his career development by joining our Accountancy team focusing on Commerce & Industry. Sally joins us as a Senior Consultant in Financial Services having made the move from London to Edinburgh.
Meet Natasha Mills, Recruitment Consultant for the Glasgow Customer Contact Team

Where were you before joining Change?
Target Healthcare Pharmaceuticals.
What’s your favourite thing about recruitment so far?
Getting to meet our clients and candidates and learning about the interview process.
What initially attracted you to the position at Change?
The potential for career development and the support network within the teams.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Helping clients fulfil their role with a great candidate and placing my candidate in their dream role.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
To be in a more senior role within Change.

Meet Craig Gow, Recruitment Consultant for the Edinburgh Accountancy Team
Hometown: Born in Johannesburg. Grew up in Galashiels in the Scottish Borders
Superpower: Just being a very average guy!
Where were you before joining Change?

How long have you worked in recruitment?
Just over 2 years now
What are your favourite things about the Accountancy market so far?
Speaking to the candidates and learning about the companies they’re working or interviewing at.
What initially attracted you to the position at Change?
Coming from a Financial Services background within recruitment, I was attracted to the diverse range of markets that Change operates in. I wanted an opportunity to learn about new sectors.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Going out and meeting new clients within the Commerce and Industry market and learning from a great team.
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
Hopefully, I’ll be seen as a specialist within my market and a trusted name within the Accountancy and Finance market.

Santorini
Most famous person ever met?
Nelson Mandela at a charity dinner.
Seen any good movies or read any good books lately?
I haven’t actually, but I’ve heard The Barefoot Investor is a good read, so that is going on the list.
Meet Sally Gammage, Senior Consultant in Our Edinburgh Office
Where were you before joining Change?
I worked for a boutique agency in London called Joss Search, who placed secretarial staff into investment firms.
What’s your favourite thing about Financial services recruitment?
The clients are great to work with, they’re demanding, fast-paced and usually quite interesting people!
How long have you worked in financial services?
I worked with predominantly private equity firms and hedge funds in London for 6.5 years.
What initially attracted you to the position at Change?
Lovely people and a great culture, lots of experienced people to learn from and it’s in Edinburgh where I was hoping to move to!
What made you move from London to Edinburgh?
I wanted to get away from the crazy commutes in London as well as the masses of people everywhere you went. I decided to move to another city where there were lots going on, good pubs, restaurants etc. and the countryside nearby. I had heard amazing things about Edinburgh, so I decided to go for it.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
Working with new people, learning about completely new roles and new areas of financial services. Also, having only worked for one other recruitment agency before, I wanted to see how other people/firms do things. I’m also excited about the 15-minute walk to work…life-changing!
Where do you see your career in 5 years?
Hopefully, a successful Senior Consultant at Change after becoming a specialist in the area I’m working in.
What changes do you see happening in the Financial Services industry?
From a recruitment perspective, IR35 will have an impact. It will be interesting to see how Brexit affects the market and staff being shifted out of London and further North to save costs could be a positive thing.
Favourite holiday?
I have been to Pembrokeshire in Wales almost every year of my life and I absolutely love it. Amazing beaches and lots of fresh air!

Keith Lemon
Seen any good movies or read any good books lately?
I saw Little Women, which is the best film I’ve seen in ages. I also read The Tattooist of Auschwitz, which was an excellent read.
