Change Recruitment Group are recruiting a Billing and Credit Control Assistant for our client’s Glasgow office. If you have experience within a finance/credit control role looking to join an established yet growing organisation with excellent progression opportunities and support, you would be encouraged to apply.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct credit control for the designated ledger of customers 
  • Initiate calls to customers for the payment of overdue invoices
  • Provide copy invoices and account statements, logging reported customer disputes
  • Participate in weekly conference calls with the organisation unit to identify late-paying accounts
  • Escalate late-paying accounts to the Team Lead and  Credit Control Manager
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in cash collection 

Skills and experience you’ll ideally have:

  • Previous exposure to Credit Control
  • Customer service experience desired
  • Knowledge of VAT and currency
  • Proven experience in meeting collections targets
  • Teamwork and effective communication skills
  • Self-starter, capable of working on own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and/or work streams simultaneously

Salary banding around £23'000 per annum, with benefits and flexibility offered in the role (hybrid working week).
