Senior Credit Risk Analyst – Glasgow

Change Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a growing financial services organisation on the search for a Credit Risk professional to join their team. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of credit risk strategies and models, analysing and optimising the performance of existing strategies and models.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk strategies and models for credit and collections
• Analyse and optimise the performance of existing strategies and models
• Identify trends and patterns by conducting analysis
• Deliver monthly Risk reporting accurately within the required timelines
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Monitor and track the performance of originations and collections strategies and make recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Key skills and experience:

• Degree educated within a numeric discipline (e.g. mathematics, operational research, statistics)
• Proven track record in a similar role in credit risk analysis, collections, or related field
• Good working knowledge of SAS and other statistical tools
• Understanding of credit risk, collections, and recovery strategies
• Ability to apply numerical techniques to data and interpret trends
• Strong communication skills with the ability to relay complex analysis and solutions to Senior Managers and Stakeholders
• Attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills
• A positive mindset with continuous improvement
