Auditor, Model Risk - Permanent - Edinburgh/London 

We are working with a Multinational Bank to support with their growth in the Audit Department. This is an exciting time to join the Audit Team as this is a key strategic role offering independent assurance within a high-profile division.

Reporting to the Sr Audit Manager, this Auditor job will require you to utilize your previous Modelling and Risk Modelling experience to profile the business with insight into their risk, governance and control environment. Utilizing your quantitative skills, you will be providing high quality audits and shape the audit plan.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver complex audits within Model Risk, IRB, IFRS9, forecasting and stress testing models

• Deliver high quality and impactful audits and help shape the annual audit plan and drive continuous improvement within the department.

• Provide insight into the risk and controls throughout the model lifecycle and key data

• Review and enhance mode methodology, performance and limitations making suggestions for automation and future model use

• Review and provide suggestions for regulatory requirements for IRB, IFRS9

• Engage with stakeholders to provide insights and promote improvements

Requirements:

• Experience with Quantitative Audits, example: Model Risk, Credit Risk or Analytics

• Strong quantitative background

• Strong understanding of model methodology and key risks and controls

• Understanding of regulatory requirements for IRB, IFRS9, forecasting and stress testing models

• Critical thinker with the ability to influence change

Please note this is a hybrid working opportunity with 1-2 days in-office per week.
