Change Financial Services are working with an industry recognised brand in the sector to recruit a commercial Finance Business Partner to their expanding team in Edinburgh. A hybrid role with 2 days in the office, the position will take a lead in engaging with a range of senior managers in their business to bring to life their revenue for their area and lead on strategic decision making, insight and analysis.

A market leader in a range of products which it offers to customers and is continuing to grow is core client base, this is an exciting time for the business, with a role that will be part of the modelling, analysis and planning. Applicants will be commercially minded and be comfortable presenting insight and commentary which scopes across finance and other input factors.

Core duties of the role will include;

  • Lead on insight and analysis of key revenue drivers
  • Responsible for FP&A activity
  • Budget setting, review and monitoring
  • Presentation of monthly insight packs to senior stakeholders within the business, leading on Q&A
  • Modelling of key themes and scenario planning as you partner the business
  • Working closely with the business to assess new business cases
  • Critical insight to spend versus cost analysis against a range of products
  • Engagement with a wide range of product SME’s across the business

 

Applicants will be able to show a level of commercial awareness and partnering experience from either a similar role in Financial Services or a business that has multiple revenue streams which form part of monthly reporting. Experience reviewing income as well as costs is of benefit as well as with tools to enhance reporting outputs, where your able to show that edge and confidence with numbers when presenting and partnering non finance professionals.

In return the role offers a high level of stakeholder interaction and progression within the business, as well as seeing tangible outputs across the business area that you partner.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + strong benefits package
