Infrastructure Support Analyst

Are you an experienced IT Infrastructure Analyst ?

Do you have 1st and 2nd Line support experience and have good knowledge of Backup Implementation and Management ?

If so I have a really interesting role with my client who is a leading Fintech business in the Investment management industry.

You will be based from their office in the city centre of Edinburgh however they offer very flexible hybrid working.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain systems & networks
• Maintain patching processes.
• Support of network devices and associated systems.
• Provide technical support up to Level 2 Support
• Deployment and Support of Windows/Linux Server environments
• Maintain and Support existing Backup applications
• Provide IT support and manage IT services
• Resolve IT incidents and process IT service requests needed
• Device management and support (Desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones)
• Mobile phones, Softphones & PBX management

Your experience should include:

• Knowledge of Backup implementation and management, Veeam preferred.
• Knowledge of patch management
• Ability to demonstrate good collaboration skills with other team members.
• Experience of IT support desk environments
• Ability to follow standard service desk procedures and quickly redirect problems to appropriate resources.
• Infrastructure and Networking concepts.
• Microsoft Active Directory management
• Office365 administration experience
• Desktop Operating systems (Windows 10/11)

It would be advantageous to have an understanding:

• Cybersecurity
• Azure Administration
• VMware
