Internal Audit Manager

Audit Manager, Corporate Functions - Permanent - Edinburgh

Change Recruitment has partnered with one of the largest investment companies to support with their recruitment for an Audit Manager within the Corporate Functions team. We are looking for experienced auditors to lead and support audits across Finance, Risk, HR, Operations and alike.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the timely and effective end to end delivery of audits using Agile methodologies in line expected quality standards, collaborating across the function to deliver optimal outcomes.
• Provide compelling and impactful reports to effectively communicate information to senior leaders
• Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the business and the risks it faces, specialising in the Corporate Functions team, supporting the team and our stakeholders in understanding and responding to those risks.
• Identify the root cause of risk management weaknesses and recommend robust, practical and beneficial solutions aligned to the business’s strategic objectives.
• Provide high quality and effective coaching to junior team members, to equip them to deliver to our quality standards.
• Embrace innovation and digital opportunities to support the development of our people and continually improve our way of working.

Requirements:

• Extensive Audit experience with a relevant professional qualification or equivalent
• Experience working within Finance & Accounting is a strong asset
• Proven experience conducting audits within corporate functions, for example Finance, Risk, HR and Marketing as examples.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Proven experience leading and motivating a team

Please note this opportunity will require you to work in the Edinburgh office 3 days per week.
