Management Accountant

Change Accountancy and Finance are partnering with an established and successful organisation based in central Edinburgh for the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a new permanent opportunity due to continuous business growth, well suited for a part- or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).

Working alongside the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of month end journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Production of Management Accounts
• Cost monitoring and reporting
• Preparation of budget and cash flow
• Support with preparation of Statutory Accounts as well as annual audit process
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes.

Requirements for the role:

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA part- or newly qualified - active studier level accountant welcome
• Strong IT and system experience (including Excel)
• Previous experience in full preparation of accounts
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-starter individual

Salary offered up to £46'000 per annum, plus excellent benefits and hybrid working week (1 day a week from the office). Study support offered if required.
