Procurement Manager
Starting salary: £37,995 per annum

About the role
The successful candidate for this role within the organisation will be responsible for:
- Managing/administering procurement activities/processes (in collaboration with end users).
- Maintaining the Contracts Register.
- Inputting to regular reports on procurement activities for Executive Team and Audit & Risk Committee (providing source data, drafting reports).
- Working with outsourced service providers to ensure procurements undertaken are done so in accordance with their procurement policy and relevant Scottish public rector regulations and requirements.
- Suggesting periodic updates/improvements to their procurement strategy/policy.
- Representing the company in external procurement networks and activities where required or appropriate.
- Administration of all procurement related activities
- Supporting all procurement activities (including those delivered by outsourced partners (e.g., Managing Agents) to satisfy regulatory and legal requirements.
- Supporting the production of our Annual Procurement Report.
Essential
- Have three years plus experience of managing procurement systems within the Public Sector.
- Have experience throughout the contract life cycle – scoping, procurement/negotiation, contract delivery.
- Be familiar with Scottish Government Procurement Journey, Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014.
- Have formal reporting experience.
Desirable
- Hold Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply membership.
- Practitioner level, UK Government Commercial Skills & Competency Framework.
- Have experience of a wide range of contract types (goods, services, works)
