Senior Client Advisor (Cloud)

Change Recruitment Group are working with an Independent Chartered Accountancy firm in Glasgow to assist them in the appointment of an accounts professional with a few years of experience in Practice to join them as a Senior Client Advisor.

This firm is a well-established Chartered Accountancy business who have been established in the Glasgow market for over 300 years! Over this time they have offered personalised accountancy services to individuals, partnerships, companies, and not-for-profit organisations and created a very strong reputation in the market. Internally, this firm boasts a really strong team culture and offers excellent support and coaching through their training academy, which is not just for junior colleagues but senior leadership teams too.

The Business Advisory Services team supports their clients with compliance and advisory services such as audit exempt statutory accounts, draft tax computations to assist the tax team, and an outsourced finance function for their clients (from bookkeeping, and management accounts to an outsourced virtual finance function). They work with an exciting and varied workload and client base, including Healthcare, Hospitality, Farming and Charities.

In this role, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, where you will work from start through to final accounts production. You will manage all aspects with regards to time frames, budgets/cost, resolving all issues, and ensuring all fees are correctly raised. You will also assist colleagues in day to day coaching and training.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CA) or be Part-Qualified and looking to complete your training
• Have experience working in an accountancy firm environment, preparing annual accounts for a variety of clients
• Be able to prioritise your workload, managing many clients with varying deadlines
• You'll ideally have exposure to CCH software as well as Xero, Sage Business Cloud and QuickBooks Online
