Change Financial Services are supporting our client in Glasgow to recruit a Tax Manager to their team. An exciting time for the business as they grow their presence and tax team in Glasgow, with coverage across a range of UK and International compliance and production queries. Applicants for the role will ideally have a background in tax preparation or a solid grounding across financial reporting and control. Full training will be provided in non UK returns and support to become an SME in this area. Key duties of the role will include;

  • Preparation and oversight of corporate tax compliance and reporting
  • Completion of corporate tax submissions
  • Oversight of non UK returns, working closely with in country advisors to validate returns and information
  • Review of balance sheet entries and ensuring the accuracy of these with relevant legislation
  • Posting of relevant adjustments and completion of payment instructions
  • Calculation of effective tax rates and developing a deeper understanding of these and their impact
  • Active involvement in project work and review of relevant tax standards
  • Work with wider finance department and develop relationships with a range of stakeholders

The role offers an experienced tax professional the opportunity to broaden and enhance their skill set, offer insight and support a high performing team as well as take on interesting project work at a key time for the business. Developing a wider understanding of the entities and how different countries apply tax rules will be taught in post and discussed at interview.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + benefits and hybrid working
