VP Compliance

VP Compliance - Permanent - Edinburgh

We are working with a prestigious global investment management client to support with their search for a VP Compliance. This will be an Edinburgh based opportunity and require you to be in the office 3+ days per week.

Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible to for interacting with key stakeholders across the business to support with the institutional and wealth client business and the multi-asset strategies and solutions team to provide compliance support and oversight for financial markets advisory. You will utilize your previous investment compliance experience to promote the compliance culture and enhance compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide qualitative compliance advice, advisory support, and oversight to key business units.
• Oversight of the regulatory risks, and activities associated with the marketing/distribution and delivery in EMEA of institutional, wealth and financial markets advisory.
• Developing and enhancing relations between business stakeholders and promote a compliance culture.
• Conduct and participate in client due diligence visits, prospective client sales meetings and direct conversations with clients where required.
• Support product launches and solutions for clients.
• Leading compliance policy reviews and providing strategic enhancements to current and new regulatory changes.
• Design and deliver regulatory training initiatives to the business.

Requirements:

• 10 + years experience Compliance within Investments, Wealth, or Asset Management industries
• Experience and knowledge of UCITS, MiFID, and FCA requirements
• Experience providing regulatory advice to key business stakeholders
• Ideally experience working with a Global or EMEA business
