Assistant Manager, IT Controls and Assurance (6mth FTC) - Edinburgh

 

Change Recruitment Group is working with a highly successful bank in the search for an Assistant Manager, IT Controls and Assurance to join the Enterprise Assurance function.  Assurance. The team is responsible for providing management with first line assurance in Operational Risk areas including Technology, Cyber and Change.

 

Key responsibilities will be providing assurance through a schedule of control testing and providing management with first line risk support. You will make a difference in your role by performing control testing to provide management with a view that risk management activities are fully understood, within risk appetite, appropriately controlled and reported on.

 

Key skills and requirements:

  • Knowledge of risk management, audit, or control testing
  • Experience of testing Technology and/or Cyber controls
  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivery to meet the agreed control testing plan to time and quality standards
  • Ability to use own initiative to identify and escalate areas of improvement, taking an active part in the solution
  • Supports a culture that values, recognises, and generates high performance
