Application Support Manager
Are you an experienced Application Support Manager ?
Have you managed a small team of Analysts, leading and supporting from the front ?
Do you want to be part of a company going through a major business transformation ?
My clients office is Glasgow city-centre however the role is hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
It would be beneficial if you have experience working in the financial Services sector
Role requirements include:
- Lead, develop and embed a newly formed application support function
- Team management, Incident management, SLA’s
- Technical expertise and ideally have ITIL experience
- Stakeholder management, performance monitoring
- Quality assurance, performance management
Your skills should include:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all business stakeholders up to and including Exec level engagement
- Experience of developing and running multi-skilled teams with a proven track record in development of staff
- Experience of working with complex applications and liaising with third party software package providers
- Experience in ITIL framework and IT Service management
- Initiative and problem-solving skills, being able to work through a problem, try different solutions.
- Ideally business knowledge of Life/Pensions/Investment products.
- Awareness/experience of workflow solutions.
- Proficient in using JIRA for task updates and tracking.
