Change Recruitment Group are supporting the recruitment of a Revenue Analyst on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) for our Edinburgh based client with hybrid and flexible working.

 

The salary range is 30k – 40k negotiable, depending on experience with a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, dental and generous leave allowance.   

 

Within the role, you will support the AP/AR manager in managing all aspects of the company’s revenue and look for opportunities for growth and risk mitigation. Your primary responsibilities will be the analysis and timely billing of all services, month-end accounting, forecasting of key metrics and working with the BI team to support data integrity.

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing the timeline and accuracy of site-related billing information
  • Monthly revenue accounting, invoice generation and issuing invoices
  • Cash posting, including allocating to relevant accounts
  • Chasing and collecting debt from existing customers
  • Managing and resolving customer/internal invoice queries in a timely manner to avoid overdue debts
  • Supporting M&A integration and ensuring its embedded in business as usual processes
  • Improving financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances and identifying trends
  • Maintaining credit control procedures for the receivable customers
  • Running monthly aged debtors reports, reconciling accounts and issuing statements
  • Preparing and analysing cash flow forecasts and reports
  • Accurately forecasting future financials on a rolling basis through understanding the relationship between business activities and drivers of revenue
  • Preparing and reviewing revenue analysis and providing insightful commentary

 

Key skills and experience:

 

If you have…

  • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • A good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Demonstrable ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • An eye for detail and ability to identify irregularities
  • Possess an up-to-date knowledge of current regulatory and compliance changes
  • Experience in cash collection and credit control
  • Experience reconciling customer accounts
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector (desirable)
